The impression that I have of these Rajasthani women is that they shelter behind their veils... did you go up and ask her for her permission or was it that she simply didn't care?
There's so much power in her expression!

No, didn't ask, but they would usually make it known if they didn't want me to take their pic. I actually didn't find too many woman behind veils there, well not at that time, but things might have changed in the 15 years since I took that pic. Thanks for the comments and for visiting. :-)
